What’s New at Little Switzerland

After undergoing a multi-million dollar facelift, Little Switz is getting even better. We are committed to making your experience at Little Switzerland the best it can be.

New High Speed Park Rope Tow/ Expanded Small & Large Terrain Parks

We have some exciting changes in store for you this season.  We have relocated our "Big Park" to the run 1941 and have added a rope tow between the big and medium parks (41 Park and Expo Park).  The run formerly occupied by the big park will once again become a ski run named "Jane's Deal".  The small park (102.1 Park - small only in terms of feature size) will be expanded to include the run formerly known as Bomber Bowl.

Let's Ride!

Easy Cheesey

We have cleared some trees at the sharp turn on Wineskin and moved some earth creating a new "easiest way down" the hill.  The new run is appropriately named Easy Cheesey.

Alpine Adventure Challenge

2016 Dates:

Little Switzerland: June 4th & 5th

Nordic Mountain: July 23rd & 24th

Rise to the challenge of the Alpine Adventure. Test your endurance, strength, agility and mental toughness. Work together as you climb, slide, splash, endure, and succeed. This 5k adventure mud run will provide challenge and fun for all abilities while utilizing the exciting terrain and elevation changes on the ski slopes of Little Switzerland and Nordic Mountain.

Mountain Biking

For the past 3 summers, Gavin MacLeod and Chad Kempf have been busy building some amazing downhill and Freeride trails.  More to come in 2016...

We take snowmaking very seriously at Little Switz as evidenced by our investment in our snowmaking system.  Our fully automated system utilizes the latest technology and provides the highest quality snow while saving energy.  We’ve increased our capacity again this season by adding even more state of the art fan guns and snow sticks from TechnoAlpin, the Snow Experts.  MORE SNOW = BETTER CONDITIONS, A LONGER SEASON, AND MORE FUN!
